Housing Inspection Services
The Housing Inspector is responsible for coordinating and engaging in residential building inspections for new construction as well as renovation work. The housing inspector is available to review plans and specifications and will ensure that residential structures within the member bands are in compliance with Building Code and local bylaw requirements. The Housing Inspector will also work to inform and provide guidance to homeowners, contractors, designers, and the public to ensure that house designs comply to appropriate codes, safety standards and bylaws. The Housing Inspector also assists with coordinating of housing related training, and participating in the development of new initiatives relating to building inspection services.
